INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
A space to explore emotions, behavioral patterns, life events, values, interpersonal relationships, career changes, future goals, academic pressures, and/or anything you want to may want to get off your chest in a nonjudgmental setting. I utilize an integrative therapeutic approach to provide individuals with individualized sessions to account for differences in learning styles, interests, and life experiences; I incorporate interventions from different therapeutic modalities to support your current needs and as your needs evolve. Other than the areas of focus I frequently work with (listed here), I specialize in the following:

FAMILY THERAPY
A collaborative process in which themes affecting the family system are explored. Family therapy is not strictly for immediate/extended family members; family sessions can include whomever you consider family! Family sessions provide families with the space and support to prepare for any upcoming changes (there are many types of change!) within the family unit. Participating individuals are introduced to the psychoeducation and coping skills relevant to the themes brought into the sessions.
Themes may include:
Communication styles
Family roles
Learning how to best support a loved one
Boundary setting
Adapting to recent or upcoming changes
Strengthening and developing coping skills
Psychoeducation
COUPLES THERAPY
A collaborative process in which couples are provided with the space to explore concerns, behaviors, or patterns affecting the relationship and/or to discuss themes a couple may be curious to further explore with therapeutic support. Couples therapy can serve as a space to cope ahead for any upcoming changes which may change your current relationship dynamic. I most often work with millenial couples.
My goal is to support partners as they express their needs and work towards established goals by highlighting the strengths each partner brings to the relationship. Please note that I will not tell you whether or not to remain in a relationship, nor will I hypothesize if your relationship will “survive” or “make it”!
Themes I frequently work with:
Communication styles
Boundary setting
Trust and commitment
Attachment styles
Codependency
Function of relationship conflict
Honoring one another’s personal growth, goals, and needs
