I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of California. I believe that a therapeutic relationship is a collaborative one! In the initial phases of therapy, the degree of collaboration will ultimately vary from person to person, and I’m all for that! Balance is a concept we frequently hear about and are encouraged to find, yet it’s oftentimes challenging to define what that may look like for each of us when busyness is also applauded. Our own versions of “balance” fluctuate depending on current life events, life transitions, personal struggles, interpersonal relationships, etc. I want to support you with finding what “balance” looks like and means to you at this time!
It’s essential that I know about your learning style and what a “safe space” means to you! I utlize an integrative approach, as therapy is not intended to take on a one-size-fits-all approach. I believe curiosity is a key as we make room for self-growth and self-acceptance to coexist.
My experience working with adolescents, adults, and families stems from working in various residential, partial hospitalization, and IOP treatment facilities throughout Los Angeles, CA. My specialties include anxiety, addiction, disordered eating/eating disorders, and personality disorders. I also specialize in working with the preteen, teen & young adult populations, addressing prominent factors which may arise during these particular phases of life, such as academic pressures, life transitions, peer/parent conflict, romantic relationships, work stress, and overall exploration of evolving identities, interests, & goals.
