THERAPY IN STUDIO CITY, LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

A nonjudgmental space for adults to explore emotions, behavioral patterns, life events, values, relationships, career, current goals, future goals, and anything you may need to get off your chest. Some individuals seek out therapy as a form of ongoing accountability and grounding.

I utilize an integrative approach to tailor sessions to the individual. It’s important to me that I account for differences in learning styles, interests, and life experiences. Interventions are dependent on your emotional needs and the evolution of your life circumstances.

Individuals I frequently work with:

Do you feel like it’s hard to slow down or figure how you feel because if you slow down you may miss or forget something? This is such a common experience! Maybe you even describe yourself as a perfectionist. Let’s work together to figure out how to amplify what currently works for you and address what you may be overlooking.

Juggling what feels like a million moving pieces is no easy feat! When most of our time is invested in growing and maintaining a business, our happiness and well-being are based on how our business is going if we’re in tunnel vision for too long. Constantly trying to be 10 steps ahead is exhausting! Comfortably accessing our emotions without worrying how that may impact a business is a skill we may need therapeutic support with. Therapy is a judgment-free space to explore your identity beyond “the business owner” or “entrepreneur.”

Being in autopilot mode may be a part of the job; over time it starts to impact our overall well-being. Trying to “find balance” during the busy work seasons is a struggle. Therapy is a useful space for self accountability and to maintain some sense of consistency when working in fast-paced environments.

Social media and the internet is constantly evolving how we connect with friends, family, strangers, and even ourselves. It also impacts how we conceptualize the world. Another layer is added when our career is dependent social media.

COUPLES THERAPY

Sessions are a collaborative process in which couples explore concerns, behaviors, and patterns affecting the relationship. Couples therapy is not only for “crisis” situations! I frequently work with millennial couples who looking to fine tune the foundation of their relationships. Couples therapy can also be utilized as a space to cope ahead for upcoming changes which may shift your current relationship dynamic and boundaries.

My goal is to support partners as they express their individual needs and relational needs. Part of the work includes highlighting the strengths each partner brings to the relationship. Through a compassionate and direct approach, we will work through any discomfort and promote accountability to strengthen the relationship.

Themes I frequently work with:

Communication
Boundary setting
Family conflict
Trust and commitment
Codependency
Relationship conflict
Work-life balance
Honoring one another’s goals and needs

FAMILY THERAPY

Family therapy is not strictly for immediate/extended family members; family sessions can include whomever you consider family! Family sessions are a collaborative process in which themes impacting the family system are explored. Participating individuals are introduced to psychoeducation, tools, and skills relevant to the themes brought into sessions.

Themes may include:
Communication
Family roles and responsibilities
Learning how to best support a loved one navigating mental health struggles
Boundary setting
Adapting to recent or upcoming changes
Family conflict
Generational trauma
