Q: Are you currently providing in-person sessions?
A: Yes, I have in-person availability at my office in Studio City, CA 91604 (located near The Shops at Sportsmen’s Lodge). I also provide online sessions via a HIPAA-compliant video platform.
Q: Do I need to live in Los Angeles, CA to receive teletherapy?
A: I am licensed to provide teletherapy to any one who resides within the state of California.
Q: Do you have early morning, evening or weekend availability?
A: I work evenings Monday through Thursday, and I have late morning and afternoon availability on weekdays. If you have specific scheduling needs during weekdays (i.e., need an early morning appointment), I am more than happy to discuss if my current availability can accommodate your scheduling needs!
Q: Do you offer sliding scale fees?
A: I have a limited number of sliding scale spots available. Please contact me regarding sliding scale/session fee reductions.
Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: I do not bill/accept insurance. When requested, I provide clients with a monthly superbill for them to directly submit to their insurance company. I encourage you to contact your insurance company regarding reimbursement rates, as this can vary amongst insurance companies and selected healthcare plans.
Q: Why do session rates/fees vary amongst therapists?
A: Each therapist bases their sessions rates on various factors, including: specialities, clinical experience, trainings, the planning involved before/after sessions, and materials provided in sessions.
Q: What if I want to start therapy, yet I’m unsure what I want to discuss or work on?
A: I’m here to guide you through the process! The unknown can feel uncomfortable and individuals often share that riding the wave of discomfort alone is a helpful experience. There is no right or wrong way to do therapy! Therapy is not simply about struggles; it is also a nonjudgmental space to also explore successes, interests, and goals.
